So, Russell Crowe went off on his Twitter about circumcision. Russell's rant apparently offended some folks in the Jewish religion and pretty much pissed a lot of other people off too. Who knew to cut or not to cut was such a hot topic? Actually it is and there are tons of websites and message boards devoted to the whole circumcise or not debate.Russell, being from Australia is not circumcised but it is commonly done here in the USA. In fact I found a website about the practice (or lack there of) in Australia.
Personally, me being a female, I haven't been circumcised. But I kind of agree with Russell. It does seem barbaric.... I always wondered how deeply buried in the psyche of a baby boy is the feeling of shock and pain? Maybe that's why some dudes are so protective of their dicks... they don't want to lose any more of it.
