As you already know, Amy Winehouse was found dead in her apartment today. The authorities are telling us not to jump to conclusions but it's only natural to assume that she died of an overdose accidental or otherwise.I have followed Amy on here quite often in the past yet this last year she has been pretty scarce.
At first it was thought that she was cleaning herself up and finding a better way, then all the videos started to surface of her onstage and it was painfully obvious that not only was she not getting sober, she was even more wasted than ever before.
Amy had her demons and they chased her down. I don't think it was possible for her to outrun her addictions and honestly there was only one way for her to go. Sad but true. The world will miss out on what Amy could have brought us throughout the years, but hopefully she is chillin' somewhere out there smoking a big fat doobie with Janis Joplin. Maybe she'll run into Jim Morrison and screw his brains out, I know I would. Rest in peace Amy.
